The spread of modern wine making technology has made it more difficult to relate taste to origin, especially with the cheaper wines. However some regions are able to produce quality wines from particular grapes at particularly attractive prices. For this tasting I will select wines from around the world trying to choose wines of a modern style that are distinctly different, have an appealing taste, and offer good value for money. We will start with a sparkler and finish with something sweet.
As usual there will be a selection of quality breads and cheeses
