Masterclass on Bordeaux

Thursday Evening: 7.30 on 28th May

Venue : Museum of Bath at Work in Julian Road

Numbers are limited to 15

Presented by Phil Cooke

This is an opportunity to learn about the world famous wines of Bordeaux.
Although the First Growths are beyond our budget we will be tasting at least two Grand Cru Classe wines. These wines are the pinnacle of Bordeaux wines. Depending on the numbers attending it may be possible to include a mature vintage. The tasting will enable you to compare the Merlot dominated wines from the left bank with those of the Cabernet dominated left bank. The tasting will also include a dry white and a sweetie. The ticket price reflects the higher cost of the wines we will taste.

The evening will include bread, and a selection of quality cheeses and cold meats.

The evening will be presented by Phil Cooke who is a Member of the Association of Wine Educators and an International Bordeaux Wine Educator.

Venue: The Museum of Bath at Work, in Julian Rd. BA1 2RH (map)
